The Prajatantra is a prominent Odia-language daily newspaper founded on July 4, 1947, and officially launched as a daily on August 8, 1947. Conceived by Dr. Harekrushna Mahtab, it is headquartered near the High Court in Chandinchowk, Cuttack.
